It takes a lot of acoustic know-how to deliver great sound from a small system. And we’ve used every technological trick we know to make sure that T7 Wireless packs an amazing sonic punch for such a little speaker.
Connects in seconds from any Bluetooth-enabled device, and thanks to aptX technology you are guaranteed a pristine listening experience.
Rock solid stability, accessible controls and the option of a stylish case for easy travelling. T7 Wireless is more than just a portable speaker, it's a whole new audio experience.
Best for Travel: This is the little hi-fi speaker that could. About the size of a big kitchen sponge, the T7 can fit into any carry-on, but still punches way above its weight, audio-wise, offering full, warm sound in all ranges, with plenty of detail in the mid-range instrumentation and full-bodied vocals that don’t give up, even at the high end. You’ll get even better sound if you have a phone that’s compatible with Bluetooth aptX, but in our experience, streaming everything from organ and orchestral music to Sara Bareilles’ “I Choose You” delivered warm and detailed sound (we could hear plenty of detail on the high hat in the latter - a speaker equally adept at blasting dance music or hip hop as listening to jazz or chamber music at more reasonable volumes — either way, the sound stays pure.
"The first Bluetooth speaker from a half-century-old English company, it has B&W's trademark honeycomb frame. That's not just for show; it will crank up the hip-hop and act as a bumper should you drop it. Battery life is an impressive 18 hours."
"There's a real sparkle to the sound that I think audiophiles (many of whom are B&W fans) will love."
"The T7 offers you balanced sound and power unlike any other of its competitors. It offers clean audio, crisp highs and mids, and rich bass. And lets not forget the sophisticated design. It's a killer portable."
"The T7 is small, well-built, and really good-looking."
“Powerful audio output for size. Rich bass and clear, well-defined high-mids and highs. Stunning original design. The speaker sounds fantastic at most volumes with most content, and it's probably one of the most handsome portable design we've ever seen in years, earning it our Editors' Choice award."
“Clean rich low end to pump up your picnic”
"When it comes to audio, the T7 is truly the audiophile's portable bluetooth speaker and one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers of its size."
"Into a world obsessed with jamming more and more features into single devices, Bowers and Wilkins have launched the T7, a portable Bluetooth speaker that does exactly one thing: it plays your music wherever you go with style and panache. B&W have been making high quality products for a long time and the T7 lives up to that legacy nicely."
Love this product. It's sound is superb. The only thing that concerns me is that when picked up the front grate makes a snapping sound that makes me feel like it's not sturdy.

Excellent product with great sound quality. It would be nice if the carry case were designed to also carry the charging

Same as above. Difficult to improve. Greater Bluetooth distance is all
A class's on it own

Fit of a glove, handy, protective, and provides a high degree of confidence that nothing will harm my T7.

I already own B&W's MM1 computer speakers and the Zeppelin wireless speaker and am impressed with their quality. I wanted a more portable wireless speaker for when I go on the road or for moving around the house & garden as required and decided to stick with B&W and purchase their T7.
Overall, it's a decent little speaker. It's light and easy to travel with and super easy to move around your house and garden. Connectivity is simple and intuitive. And it looks pretty decent.
Now, the sound... it's good. It's not incredible. It's not as good as the wired MM1 or wireless Zeppelin speakers, but you couldn't expect them to be. The sound shows up mp3 and poorer dynamically recorded tracks, but the higher resolution music files of well-recorded music sound pretty good.
You'll probably be happy with this for its portability and decent sound given its size and weight. It'll serve well the purpose for which these speakers are designed. You'll still need, of course, your much better quality speakers for your primary use.

The case is nice, but there is no way to pack the charging cable with the speaker.
