While it might be the entry level speaker in the CI700 in-ceiling range, the CCM7.5 certainly doesn’t skimp on high-spec features. For starters, the speaker pairs up a mighty 150mm (6in) Kevlar bass/midrange driver in a rigid die-cast chassis with a Nautilus™ tubeloaded 25mm (1in) soft dome tweeter. Like other in-ceiling speakers in the range, it also has a glass-reinforced ABS baffle, and a scallop under the tweeter for better roll-off at high frequencies, resulting in more accurate sound reproduction.
