LSO Berlioz

Berlioz 'Grande Messe des morts'

‘Requiem’, is an exceptionally difficult piece to perform and record, and indeed proved a unique and urgent challenge for Sir Colin Davis, who was 84 at the time of the recording. Peter Gabriel

At the height of his fame, Gabriel toured his classic album, So, throughout the world ending in an open-air theatre overlooking Athens. Recorded and filmed over three nights and painstakingly restored, this is the first time the audio has ever been released.

Ravel: Bolero

Ravel: Boléro

When the LSO and Valery Gergiev performed Ravel’s Bolero in London at the end of 2009 a recording for LSO Live was a must. Unusually, a video was made too, and here it is. This is an exclusive HD version of the video and has never been made available before.

Jesca Hoop

Jesca Hoop

An achingly lush chamber-folk debut with crystalline harmonies, recorded in the dead of a Toronto winter in a church and the basement of the band's house. The band recommend listening to it in a cozy space with a roaring fire nearby.
