"Any audiophiles on your gift list who genuinely care about things like "rich, articulate lows" will love the Bluetooth-powered Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless headphones. Not only are they RetroSexyCool, but they can wirelessly deliver some top-notch audio directly to your earholes from any connected device. (And for those times you want to save on battery life, the P5s come with a wire connector.)"
"We loved Bowers & Wilkins P5 Series 2 headphones, and now Bowers has done us a solid by making them available as wireless headphones too. Like the wired model, the headphones sport a closed-back design with rigid metal faceplates crafted from aluminum that are complimented by supple sheep’s leather. To that effect, the headphones scream luxury and both look and feel like a million bucks."
"The Bowers and Wilkins P5 Wireless headphones have excellent build quality and deliver rich, well-balanced sound for Bluetooth headphones… a luxury headphone."
"We have been huge fans of Bowers and Wilkins‘ P5 headphones and quite frankly didn’t think they could get much better. Until we heard that they were making them wireless. They took the same Bluetooth technology that helped deliver high-quality sound to the T7 and amped it up for the P5. The P5 is capable of producing the highest-quality sound."
"B&W's P5 wireless pack sledgehammer sound. They’re super stylish and sound good - you’d better be ready for a powerful ride."
“An exquisitely, thoughtfully designed product, and it delivers some of the best wireless audio we've heard. Fantastic audio performance with rich, articulate lows and crystal clear highs. Smart, handsome design with secure, comfortable fit. one of the best Bluetooth headphone pairs we've tested, and it easily wins our Editors' Choice award.”
"P5 Wireless hits new highs in Bluetooth headphone luxury - these are executive-class, executive-style headphones. Classy in ways that even the top-of-line competitors can’t match, P5 Wireless is the first Bluetooth headphone I would recommend to fans of classic premium audio gear. The softest leather and pads I’ve ever felt — genuine sheep leather with a truly incomparable texture. Phone callers told me that B&W’s new dual-microphone system sounded excellent, rendering my voice as clearly as the iPhone in handset mode — no easy feat. If you’ve been thinking of investing in a really nice set of wireless headphones, P5 Wireless offers the most compelling reason yet to take the plunge."
"Our favourite headphones just went wireless"
"Take it from us, the P5 Wireless Headphones are second to none, and offer up exceptional design and sound along the way."
"Even audiophiles sometimes get into a twist over errant headphone wires, but sound quality is still a priority. Bowers & Wilkins has a solution. The wireless P5 headphone is a paragon of signature B&W styling, including all-leather-and-metal construction... you'll want these with you everywhere."
I loved the original P5 headphones and was extremely excited about getting the P5 wireless. The fit is great and the controls work perfectly. The connection (it cuts on and links to my phone perfectly but songs break up enough for me to mention it in this review) to my phone is not excellent which is disappointing and I haven't figured out if its just my iPhone or the P5 but I have not had previous connection problems with other wireless devices using my same iPhone so....that's a bummer.

- Surprisingly small size and light to carry around when traveling
- Very comfortable
- Amazing sound!!
- Long lasting battery life
- Had initial trouble to link with Bluetooth on a laptop running Windows 10. Decided to update the Bluetooth drivers and all is well ever since
- Had trouble with the pause/resume function with Groove Music player on Windows 10. Didn't bother to figure out if it was due to screen lock session while music was still playing

It's a great product. I bought the original, wired P5s when they came out and used them until they were stolen from my office, which is why I'm buying the new ones. They don't smell very good, like they're filled with gross chemicals or something. It's not bad, but it's noticeable. The velcro wrap on the usb cable shot off a tiny velcro fibre into my when I first unwrapped my USB cable, which I was fortunately able to get out. I also can't get them to connect to my MacBook, but can with my iPhone. I assume it's my MacBook, but I don't know for sure.
Anyway, they're great and sound nice.

I had a great experience with purchasing the P5 headphones. The product itself exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The Blue Tooth connectivity is effortless, the sound quality is same as listening to a set of 800 D3s. The build quality and the overall look of them is simply awe inspiring. Lots of compliments, lots of lusting after my P5s.
However, they are tight, very tight, I don’t think I have a big head but there is no adjusting the width of the P5. This tightness resulted in P5 squeezing my head very uncomfortably to where I couldn’t wear them any more than about an hour at a time. I want to use these at work, and I need to be able to wear them longer, much longer. The battery life is great, I should be able to wear them longer than an hour.
I am returning them, very very regretfully. I’ve spent about 6 hours researching other reference Headphones with Blue Tooth connectivity in the price range. I can sum up my efforts in a single word “Disappointed”. P5 is in a class of its own, and it sits on top of all others. I don’t see the point of spending $2k on headphones, and that is why the p5 is such an amazing buy for what you get. I don’t need to spend another $300 on a portable headphone amp, P5 Wireless, sounds amazing on its own!.
My "Product Improvement" suggestion to the design and engineering team is: Build a sizing mechanism in the bridge area of the headphones (Middle/Top of the head) where the whole headphone can be resize and widened and locked down. This can be achieved with a screw like mechanism where turning the screw will widen the headphones and lock the size in place.
B&W will be able to patent this and be the 1st manufacturer the bring this to the reference headphone market, I'd love to beta test it and write reviews about it.

I love these headphones. I usually like a more modern look, but I think these are great classic B+W design!

These are the most accurate headsets I have ever tried.

Materials used to build this product is a big plus!!!!!!!! ++++++ If worse materials were used, I probably wouldn't have bought this product. Hope to have updated version sometime soon with a chrome ring between earpad and headphone housing, like in P5 S2, instead of plastic ring found in P5 Wireless. Sound quality is excellent too.
I hope to see wireless variants of P7, P3, and C5 in the near future. :)
