Sales Analyst (Boston)

EVA Automation, a Silicon Valley startup company led by Gideon Yu, recently purchased Bowers & Wilkins. Today, we are the market leaders in the premium audio category and are used by musicians and producers in the best studios in the world, from Abbey Road to Skywalker Studios.

The Sales Analyst will report to the Senior Global Sales Operations Manager and will be responsible for delivering world class sales analytics for Bowers & Wilkins products to maximize retailers’ as well as Bowers & Wilkins profitability and revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• A champion in driving retail analysis and leading POS Analysis, Promotional Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Inventory Analysis, Competitive Analysis, and assist in Customer Presentations
• Analyze and provide insight on the monthly forecast from the global sales teams each month
• Manage goals and objectives of multiple projects at the same time
• Monitor sell in/sell through and inventory levels at retailers while working with the sales team to impact top line and bottom line
• Utilize syndicated data sources and provide insights on category trends, market share, and other factors impacting performance
• Drive market & financial analysis and insights to all functions of the company by utilizing Retailer portals, POS data, syndicated sources and other pertinent data sources
• Measure & communicate all causal influences on sales results; i.e. promotional lift and price elasticity, expected shifting due to line extensions, new product introductions, pricing strategy, etc.
• Provide reporting to Sales Operations/Sales for meetings / calls with retail customers to articulate various trends in the market and discuss areas of opportunity
• Support sales team with setup up new accounts and new products at national/regional account

• Ability to handle large amounts of data & data-mine to assist with strategic insights and operational effectiveness
• Ability to work in an engaging and fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Willingness to consistently and aggressively challenge the way reporting & analysis has been done in the past to uncover new & improved ways of operating
• Capable of juggling multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
• Strong detail orientation with proven ability to work quickly and deliver accurate and actionable information
• Agility – must thrive in a fluid and changing environment
• Ability to develop strong loyalty with sales team

Education And Experience:

• Bachelor’s Required; MBA preferred
• 4 - 7 Years of Sales Analyst Experience
• Strong communication skills
• Experience developing category insights
• Advanced experience using Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Sales Force, Sap, Business Objects and IBP a Plus
