Acoustic performance

The full-blooded roar of a Maserati V8 has always been a thing of beauty. Now, thanks to a combination of careful speaker placement and fine-tuning, the Quattroporte’s audio system produces an in-car acoustic experience that’s just as rich and exciting.

Integrated acoustics

Maserati Quattroporte’s audio system isn’t an after-thought – it’s an integrated feature of the car’s design. Fifteen speaker units are built into the cabin’s internal architecture, strategically placed to ensure the best possible acoustics.

Tuned to perfection

Tuning a speaker system is a fine art, requiring expert ears and hours of listening. The Maserati system has been tuned by the engineers responsible for Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship 800 Series – speakers used by Abbey Road Studios in London.

Premium surround system

Immersive sound

Quattroporte raises the bar for acoustic detail and clarity in a Maserati. What’s more, the system’s architecture and advanced digital features produce truly immersive surround sound from any position in the car. So nobody misses out on the experience.

Advanced processing

Quattroporte’s surround system creates a rich sound experience, no matter where you’re sitting. HARMAN’s QuantumLogic signal processing and AuraVox equalisation ensure that everyone gets a fair hearing.

Play everything

Play music your way. The audio system is compatible with most disc formats and features a built-in USB connector, so it’s easy to plug in your iPhone or any other digital music-playing device. How you play is up to you.

Enveloping performance

Advanced materials

The Quattroporte audio system integrates tried and trusted acoustic innovations used in many of our advanced Hi-Fi speakers. Materials like Kevlar – introduced as a speaker cone material by Bowers & Wilkins in the 1970s – are the result of our long-standing commitment to acoustic research and development. Because when it comes to choosing the raw materials for a speaker system, nothing but the best will do.

A sweeter tweeter

Quattroporte’s aluminium tweeters capture the subtleties of music, such as the delicate brush strokes across the surface of a cymbal, with amazing accuracy.

Rock solid bass

Rohacell is a stiff, highly resilient material often used in the construction of rockets and aircraft. In the Quattroporte, Rohacell forms the structural heart of the audio system’s bass drivers, delivering unshakable, rock-solid bass throughout the car.
